摘要: This paper investigates the effects of changing volume and position permanent magnets in a single phase line-start magnet motor. Using time-stepped finite element model breakdown losses an industrial prototype is presented. A number new designs are investigated with used to illustrate design changes. The best shown be capable improved performance when compared industrially designed prototype, 24% less material simplified construction. offers 39% reduction electrical costs same frame size induction
