摘要: This study surveyed Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) member dentists (from four regions in the U.S. and Scandinavia) who perform restorative dentistry their practices. The survey asked a range of questions about caries risk assessment patients aged 6 to 18. Among respondents, 73% reported performing among these patients, while 14% assessed by using special form. Regions which most were private practice model least likely assessment, where practiced large group use form for assessment. Recent graduates from dental school more compared older graduates. Current oral hygiene, decreased salivary flow, presence active rated as important factors. Some differences region also evident factor ratings. These results suggest that not all community assess risk. this indicate considerable variability dentists' views concerning importance specific factors treatment planning weak evidence is driving clinical when preventive recommendations are being considered.
