摘要: Concentrated photovoltaics (CPV) has recently gained interest based on its scalability and expected low levelized cost of electricity. The reliability of materials used in CPV systems, however, is not well established. current qualification test for photodegradation modules includes only real-time ultraviolet (UV) exposure, i.e. methods for accelerated UV testing have been developed. Therefore, the infrared (IR) spectra transmitted through representative optical systems evaluated this paper. measurements concentrating optics are to assess expected performance as understand how quantify damaging exposure. Optical properties (transmittance, refractive index, reflectance, absorptance) candidate identified. dose flux analysis here identifies increased significance IR (as opposed UV) exposure particularly for the most systems. For these, may greatly exceed unconcentrated global solar condition, but thermal load scales nearly directly with geometric concentration.
