Vertically oriented Ni3S2/RGO/Ni3S2 nanosheets on Ni foam for superior supercapacitors

摘要: A unique sandwich structure of Ni3S2/RGO/Ni3S2 consisting Ni3S2 nanosheets was designed and constructed on nickel foam (NF) by a one-step hydrothermal process. The lower layer converted in situ from the Ni substrate, while upper with vertical resulted Ni2+ ions solution. This Ni3S2/RGO/Ni3S2/NF nanocomposite directly utilized as supercapacitor electrode, which possessed high areal mass loading 5.2 mg cm−2, superior performance: specific capacitance up to 16.82 F cm−2 (i.e., 3234.62 g−1) at current density 20 mA (3.85 90% retention initial after 1000 cycles rate 100 (19.23 g−1).
