摘要: By definition, a susceptible plant is one that cannot successfully defend itself against pathogen attack. Such situation relatively rare, and anyone species commonly to infection by only few of the thousands micro-organisms known cause disease in higher plants. Nevertheless, susceptibility sufficient unacceptable yield losses commercial crop, it this pathologists are ultimately trying prevent. Thus important know why defense mechanisms which apparently confer resistance towards seem unable control another.
