摘要: This paper reviews the Bayesian melding approach while a companion technical report cited in gives details about Gibbs sampling algorithm used to implement model and software developed for research reported this available online can enable method's use other applications. critically assesses of mapping ozone concentration fields possible future setting regulatory standards. assessment has two stages. First simulation study validates computer code goes on investigate properties situation where “truth” is known. Then it tested application using data from air quality system (AQS) database simulated multiscale platform (MAQSIP) chemical transportation ozone. In all cases, testing against Kriging, simpler more traditional way spatial fields. Conclusions recommendations work are provided. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
