摘要: Abstract The u.v. absorption spectra of m - and p -MeO·C 6 H 4 ·SR show that steric interactions affect the K -bands more than they do B which arise from —S·C — chromophore. Expansion octet sulphur atom appears to occur in series when electron-releasing interaction between aromatic ring is sterically curtailed.
