摘要: Abstract This study aimed to investigate the relationship between outcome following cochlear implantation and auditory cortical activation. It also studied effects of length implant use duration deafness on activations. Cortical activity resulting from stimulation was measured using [ 18 F]FDG positron emission tomography. In a group experienced adult users, we found positive correlation speech perception activations in both primary association cortices. present subgroup users but absent new with similar abilities. There significant negative gives insights into activation influence preceding experience.
