摘要: Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are a pivotal component of innate immunity in lower vertebrates. The aim this study was to develop an immunological method for quantifying AMPs Salmo salar skin mucus. A known antimicrobial peptide derived from histone H1 previously purified and described S. mucus (SAMP H1) chemically synthesized used obtain antibodies the quantification molecule via ELISA. Using samples, correlation bacterial growth inhibition versus SAMP concentration (ELISA) established. results provide first evidence presence active through use method.
