摘要: Purpose To evaluate the add-on effect of static cyclotorsion compensation (SCC) over dynamic (DCC) on refractive and visual outcomes in patients having laser situ keratomileusis (LASIK) for myopic astigmatism. Setting Private center, Tokyo, Japan. Design Comparative study. Methods Consecutive had LASIK with a target emmetropia between August 2009 June 2010. Patients preoperative astigmatism 2.0 diopters (D) or greater more than 3 months follow-up. SCC plus DCC treatment (study group) only (control group). Results The 2 groups were similar preoperatively refraction, acuity, higher-order aberrations (HOAs). After treatment, outcome study group was significantly better control group, mean sphere 0.13 D ± 0.29 (SD) versus 0.17 0.30 D (P=.009), cylinder −0.11 −0.19 0.36 (P Conclusion combination using an aberration-free aspheric ablation profile produced statistically significant improvement outcomes.
