摘要: The extract of the seeds Psoralea corylifolia Linn. (P. corylifolia) have been shown to display anti-tumor activity. However, prospects active compounds from this plant in treatment oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) remains unclear. In present study, antitumor effects psorachromene, a flavonoid extracted P. corylifolia, were investigated using cells and animal models OSCC; downstream regulatory mechanisms also elucidated. results showed that psorachromene significantly repressed proliferation, migration, invasiveness increased toxic chemotherapeutic agents against OSCC cells. repressive attributable inhibition EGFR-Slug signaling, induction G2/M arrest apoptosis Additionally, we found induced expression tumor suppressor long non-coding ribonucleic acid (RNA) growth arrest-specific transcript 5 (GAS5) activation its anticancer mechanisms. Animal experiments noticeable growth, without significant physiological toxicity. findings indicate displays activity OSCC, warrants further investigation as potential agent for clinical application.
