摘要: Children with medical complexity (CMC) are a medically fragile pediatric population that experience severe chronic illnesses resulting in significant health care needs, functional limitations, and utilization, at the highest risk for morbidity mortality among all children. Furthermore, families parents of CMC caregiver hardships diminished quality life. The field palliative has grown recent years, part to address physical psychosocial issues inherent these chronically ill However, as prevalence long-term survival increases advancements, demand will likely exceed capacity current future specialists.
