摘要: Abstract Although the collisional belt between North and South China blocks has been well defined in China, location of its eastward extension Korean Peninsula is highly controversial. The Cambro-Ordovician sedimentary rocks Korea, Joseon Supergroup, accumulated Ogcheon which proposed as suture zone or block boundary. Supergroup comprises five different lithostratigraphic units, may be divided into two tectonic by Honam Shear Zone (HSZ) belt. Based on affinities Cambrian trilobite faunas, previous studies correlated Yeongweol unit western part HSZ with Duwibong eastern China. To test above geodynamic interpretation, this study analyzed compared degree provinciality Upper conodonts from units quantitative for provincialism shows high bioprovincial both conodont faunas display higher that rather than Their faunal similarity suggests might have included a larger continental including Peninsula, Sino-Korean block, early Paleozoic time. This result supported recent lower biogeography, stratigraphy sedimentology suggest more closely
