摘要: [1] Terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGFs) are bursts detected from space that associated with lightning activity. In the present paper, we show shorter TGF durations (∼50μs) recently discovered by burst monitor (GBM) aboard Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope consistent temporal dispersion Compton scattering of photons produced an instantaneous source. This new result suggests short pulses observed satellites correspond to very sources less than ∼10μs and long (≳100 μs) may be due overlapping emissions a sequence elementary processes much durations.
