摘要: ABSTACT Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs), silver (Ag zinc oxide (ZnO NPs) and titanium dioxide (TiO2 are widely used in cosmetic products such as preservatives, colorants sunscreens. This study investigated the genotoxicity of Au NPs, Ag ZnO NPs TiO2 using SOS chromotest with Escherichia coli PQ37. The maximum exposure concentrations for each nanoparticle were 3.23 mg l–1 32.3 mg l–1 100 mg l–1 NPs. Additionally, order to compare corresponding dissolved ions, ions assessed same way nanoparticles. ion was not because extremely low solubility Au, Zn, a range tested concentrations, exerted no effects chromotest, evidenced by IF (IFmax) values below 1.5 all chemicals. Owing results, nanosized Zn classified non-genotoxic on basis this study. To best our knowledge, is first evaluate chromotest. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
