摘要: Microalgal biofilms are sensitive to environmental conditions. Impacts of contaminants on assemblages marine biofilm often investigated in laboratories or mesocosms. Such experiments rarely representative the effects under natural Studies field situations, with enough power detect impacts, necessary develop a better understanding ecological processes. Metals common contaminant systems and can cause disturbances assemblages. Using new technique experimentally deliver microalgal assemblages, hypotheses were tested regarding zinc growing settlement panels subtidal intertidal habitats. PAM fluorometry was used assess amount physiological state panels. Control deployed for 1 month each habitat had significantly greater amounts than those exposed zinc.
