摘要: Abstruct Experiments of prey selection by Acanthocyclops vernalis demonstrate that many factors govern this process. Evidence from search and handling times required for complete consumption, behavioral observations, carapace wound examinations indicated body shape, integrity, mode swimming were major influences on the selective Soft-bodied species quickly completely consumed; others more difficult to handle some these rejected. Escape strategies different each species, success escape depended in part upon direction relative horizontal attack Acanthocyclops. Size affects all thcsc characteristics allometry, because correlative relationships speed.
