Photocatalytic Destruction of Tetracycline Hydrochloride on the Surface of Titanium Dioxide Films Modified by Gold Nanoparticles

摘要: Films of titania (TiO2) and modifi ed with gold nanoparticles (TiO2:Au) were synthesized by a sol-gel method on substrates glass, aluminum, aluminum layer nanotextured or porous anodic alumina. The photocatalytic activity the samples was investigated in an aqueous solution antibiotic tetracycline hydrochloride (TC). TC decomposition observed presence all as reduction optical density range below 500 nm. Titania crystalline anatase phase incorporated spherical primarily sizes 1–10 nm after heat treatment at 400°C. Modifi cation TiO2 fi lms glass did not increase samples. It found that complexes Al 3+ formed only lm either dark UV irradiation.
