摘要: Abstract The lubricant film thickness and friction properties of a mineral base oil its mixtures with two phosphonium cation-based ionic liquids: [ P 66614 ] [(iC8)2PO2] BEHP at 0.5 1 wt% concentrations were studied under different slide-to-roll ratios (SRR) temperatures in an EHD2 ball-on-disc test rig. All samples showed similar full lubrication behaved similarly tests polished discs SRR 5%, but the outperformed neat 50%. also better rough discs. Tribological improvements achieved mixed boundary regimes. Real application such as rolling bearings will be presented second part this work.
