摘要: Abstract Conjugate aspects of auroral zone electron precipitation are examined using X-ray data obtained from balloon flights launched conjugate sites, Reykjavik, Iceland and Syowa, Antarctica, in the winter 1969. In spite close conjugacy these dissimilarities were noted between observations two hemispheres, especially for midnight events. This is attributed part to drift motions narrow regions. For a dayside event, relations found even though detectors out by approx. 700 km. Riometer this event suggest that intensity was significantly smaller southern hemisphere.
