摘要: Human marrow transplantation for the treatment of malignant and nonmalignant disorders is becoming an established modality therapy. As in any aggressive therapeutic modality, benefits must be balanced with risks The chemoradiotherapy used to prepare patients creates a transient immunodeficiency disorder postgrafting until transferred donor reestablishes competent immune system. Immune reconstitution posttransplant follows general pattern developing from immature mature functions. reactivity during first month extremely low. Cytotoxic phagocytic functions recover by day 100, while more specialized cooperative T B cells remain impaired up one year or postgrafting. After postgrafting, various components systems most healthy recipients begin work synchronously, whereas chronic graft-v-host disease (GVHD) crippled. Recent evidence shows that transfer specific immunity donors plays role reestablishing immunocompetence. Transferred antigen-specific may explain why do not die overwhelming infections.
