摘要: PURPOSE: To evaluate the surface roughness and dimensional stability of types III IV gypsum models, obtained from irreversible hydrocolloid impressions after disinfection with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite steam. METHODS: The to obtain type models were divided into 3 groups: Group 1 (disinfection steam for 10 minutes); 2 (simulated distilled water steam) (no treatment). measure changes a digital caliper, 36 (18 each gypsum) cast according stainless steel master model four pillars. For measurement, polished platform. data analyzed using ANOVA Tukey's test (α=1%). RESULTS: There was no statistically significant difference in linear dimensions or when different treatments compared (Groups 1, 3), all gypsum. CONCLUSION: did not significantly affect dental models.
