摘要: A three-dimensional mechanical finite element model has been developed to investigate thermal stresses and their implication on cracking during laser melting of ceramic materials. Special effort devoted the effects latent heat fusion fluid flow melt pool stresses. Results have indicated that, although trends in predicted maximum tensile with respect processing conditions are same, contours surfaces treated tracks significantly different for two simulation cases, using loads provided by models that either consider or neglect pool. Such simulated results can be reasonably correlated degree occurrence cracks morphologies experimentally formed, under corresponding conditions.
