摘要: Volcanic rocks on the island of Lipari show entire range Sr, Nd, Pb isotopic compositions displayed by other islands in Aeolian archipelago. The rapid evolution subaerial volcanic towards crustal values together with appropriate composition neighbouring Calabrian crust (Serre) indicate that many geochemical characteristics observed lavas can be attributed to contamination and mixing materials melts. Interpretation data is complicated fact underplating onto crust-mantle boundary specific lithologies present section differ underneath each individual sector island. In central northern parts island, metapelitic were incorporated provide more radiogenic Sr some lavas. products from M. It suggested variability budget alkalis (Na2O versus K2O) explained invoking a heat source an intruding asthenospheric MORB-type mantle into cooler lithospheric crust/mantle during opening Tyrrhenian basin.
