摘要: Plasmid reporter vectors have been constructed which respond to activation of LuxR and its homologues LasR RhlR (VsmR) by N-acyl homoserine lactones (AHLs). The expression luxCDABE from transcriptional fusions PluxI, PlasI PrhlI respectively, occurs in the presence activating AHLs. A profile structure/activity relationships is seen where natural ligand most potent. characterisation individual homologue/AHL combinations allows a comprehensive evaluation quorum sensing signals test organism.
