HOW PROGRESSIVE IS THE CZECH PENSION SECURITY

摘要: The aim of the paper is to examine progressivity pension security in Czech Republic using an intragenerational longitudinal approach. Since there no available panel data we modelled pseudo-panel on lifetime earnings employees basis real crosssectional data. Then present values contributions paid and pensions received from system were derived simulated earnings. analysis revealed that redistributes funds higher-income participants lower-income ones men women. Furthermore Gini coefficients confirmed scheme reduces income inequality. results proved solidarity principle built formula prevails over benefit principle, which also formula, when component relatively more favourable for rich because shape function.
