摘要: The purpose of this study is to demonstrate a methodology for springback compensation in sheet metal stamping operations. An optimization method based on the D-optimality criterion experimental design and successive linear response surface approximations employed minimize difference between simulation results intended design. A subdomain reduction scheme applied determine size each iteration. procedure, which has been implemented program LS-OPT, interfaced with package LS-DYNA, parametric preprocessor TrueGrid. These tools are used input original tool geometry, material, process parameters, identify variables, perform simulations output optimized geometry. standardized NUMISHEET’96 S-Rail as benchmark example study. converged obtained four or five iterations. It found that trends consistent changes die shape, thereby suggesting other effective strategies compensation.
