摘要: Iodine-123 metaiodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) is a noradrenaline analogue which can be used as tracer to investigate the cardiac sympathetic nervous system. Regional ischaemia leads depletion with functional denervation demonstrated by reduced MIBG uptake. In order evaluate reversibility of ischaemia-associated damage system, neuronal scintigraphy 123I-MIBG and myocardial rest stress perfusion technetium-99m sestamibi was performed in 16 patients coronary artery disease before 3–4 months after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA). Partial re-innervation ocurred five patients, degree stenosis remaining lesions being estimated repeat angiography below 40%. Unchanged defects cold confirmed four residual between 40% 50%. Increased were shown three significant restenoses more than 70%. all exceeded ischaemia-induced or scar-associated defects. Three dropped out this study: one for technical reasons, due emergency aortocoronary bypass surgery diabetic polyneuropathy. This investigation shows that system highly sensitive ischaemia. Further studies need done assess conditions allowing PTCA.
