Combining MPC and LD Analysis in Supply Chain Inventory Control Problem

摘要: The present paper approaches the inventory control problem in supply chains. A classical solution of this is based on base-stock policy which, more recently, has been improved using large deviations (LD) techniques and introducing concept service level constraint. Base-stock policies are widely used real-world organizations investigated by academia, however provided these non-smooth leads to high set-up costs. Our idea use a model predictive (MPC) technique mimic same analysis system but achieving both lower production costs, without violating imposed constraint
