摘要: Abstract The d-spacing distribution in a number of carbon blacks was accurately measured by means an internal calibration standard. appears to be random, following log-normal pattern for all blacks, except thermal which are concentrically arranged around the particle nucleus. In furnace and channel identical with pattern, regardless size degree coalescence. Except other investigated appear built up from layer planes oriented plurality nuclei randomly distributed particles. Layer follow contour, generally only at periphery particle. Graphitization leads growth as well motion planes, resulting marked narrowing without changing its character. It is shown that X-ray data intrinsically restricted limited while electron micrography has no such restrictions revealing black microstructure.
