摘要: Abstract Non-woody biomass fuels have a great potential to replace fossil and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, their application in small scale combustion appliances for heat production is often associated with increased operational problems (e.g. slagging bottom ash or fouling) as well elevated particulate gaseous emission levels. To mitigate these problems, scope limitation of blending raw materials owing critical fuel composition less problematic biomasses been systematically studied during experiments commercially available appliance nominal capacity 30 kW. Three pellet batches pure (i.e. pine wood, miscanthus wheat straw) seven blended employed. Slagging, total matter (TPM) emissions CO, NOx, SO2 HCl) were monitored. The results evaluated respect reduction strategy applicability indices which originally developed coal fuels. Based on results, herbaceous woody reduces risk leads reduced levels, though significant was observed only blends at least 50 wt% wood. wood seemed be more effective.
