Rethinking tourism conflict potential within and between groups using participatory mapping

摘要: Tourism on small tropical islands in the Global South is a balancing act between development to improve local livelihoods and conservation of fragile coastal coral ecosystems. The objective our study develop series new spatial metrics support sustainable through assessing direction magnitude tourism conflict groups. We surveyed 317 individuals out an estimated total population 3300 using public participation GIS (PPGIS) Tioman Island, Malaysia.
