摘要: The ultimate aim of the present study was to exploring chemopreventive efficacy diosgenin on 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA) induced hamster buccal pouch carcinogenesis. potential evaluated by measuring tumour incidence, volume and burden as well analyzing activities detoxification agents, levels lipid peroxidation byproducts antioxidants status specific colorimetric methods. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) developed in pouches male Syrian golden hamsters painting with 0.5% DMBA liquid paraffin, thrice a week for 16 weeks. painted animals were indicating morphological changes depicted hyperplasia, dysplasia well-developed carcinoma.
