摘要: In order to investigate the therapeutic potential of acupuncture on patients with functional dyspepsia (FD), were randomized receive at classic acupoints manipulations (treatment group) versus nonacupoints without manipulation (control once every other day, three times a week, for one month and followed up months. The primary outcomes included dyspeptic symptoms, quality life, mental status. secondary fasting serum gastrin concentration, frequency propagation velocity gastric slow waves. Sixty FD included, among whom, four dropped out. After month's treatment, showed significant improvements in (in both groups) eight treatment as compared baseline (P = 0.0078 <0.0001); group has better all outcome measures < 0.0001 except SDS 0.0005)). Improvements symptoms persist during follow-up (better group). Acupuncture manual had effects improving status, life FD. These may be related increased speed waves secretion.
