摘要: This paper presents a medium access control (MAC) protocol called TUTMAC for new wireless local area network (TUTWLAN). The design objective has been to develop simple, multimedia service capable that provides sufficient utilisation efficiency and guarantees QoS (quality of service) parameters. developed system utilises centralised (base station controlled) architecture. A limited number portable stations can be associated with the same base station, i.e. in TUTWLAN cell. is connection oriented: bandwidth allocated deploying constant bit-rate TDMA based data channels are reserved by exchanging short messages. parameters dynamically altered during exchange session. Currently, prototype being comprising both software platform hardware modules. will support up eight simultaneous data-transfer connections each having 64 512 kbit/s transmission bandwidth.
