摘要: Phosphatization of soft tissues and skeletal remains has varied temporally taxonomically through the Phanerozoic. During Cambrian early Ordovician, microscopic arthropods animal embryos were preferentially preserved. was uncommon during rest Paleozoic, as recalcitrant a few taxa preserved in hospitable microenvironments. The Cretaceous Eocene saw another expansion phosphatization, with strong bias toward fish already enriched apatite. Throughout its Phanerozoic history, phosphatization exhibited taphonomic that could resist stages organic decay, structures calcium phosphate, and, many cases, small body sizes. pulse Early Ordovician may have been facilitated by generally lower levels mixed layer development upper centimeters seafloor sediments time period, whereas increase possibly related to enlargement euxinic epicontinental seaways.
