An improved SAO network-based method for technology trend analysis: A case study of graphene

摘要: Abstract This paper proposes an improved Subject-Action-Object (SAO) network-based method for analyzing trends in technology development. It attempts to address shortcomings of the traditional SAO network approach, i.e., when setting Subject, Action and Object as nodes network, there may be errors explaining relationship between Subject Node Node, strength subject object also cannot identified. The proposed this includes: (1) a new constructing based on links that calculate intensity nodes; (2) model identifying development structural holes, changes distribution node degrees, shifts centrality. An empirical study graphene is used illustrate validity feasibility method.
