摘要: Increased utilization of solar power is highly desirable as a readily available renewable resource with potential far exceeding total global needs; and does not contribute to pollutants associated fossil fuel power, such unburned hydrocarbons, NOx carbon dioxide. The present invention provides low-cost inflatable heliostatic collectors, which can be stand-alone units suitable for flexible in small, medium, or utility scale applications. collectors use reflective surface membrane “sandwiched” between two inflated chambers, attached receivers may photovoltaic and/or thermal types. Modest concentration ratios enable benefits both reduced cost increased conversion efficiency, relative simple prior-art flat plate collectors.
