摘要: A process for producing a highly-orientated ultralong conjugated polymer while the orientation there­of is maintained, which comprises: step of immersing substrate having hydrophilic surface in nonaqueous organic solvent containing compound at least an unsaturated group, such as acetylenic etc., and -SiAxH3-x group denotes chloro or lower alkyl x integer from 1 to 3, whereby forming monomolecular film above on substrate, specific direction, polymerizing by using irradiation metal salt catalyst, electron beam, X-ray gamma ray, catalyst being MoCl₅, MCl₆, NbCl₅, TaCl₅, like halide Mo(CO)₅, W(CO)₆, Nb(CO)₅, Ta(CO)₅, carbonyl catalyst.
