Forsythiae Fructus: A Review on its Phytochemistry, Quality Control, Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics.

摘要: Forsythiae Fructus, as a traditional Chinese medicine, has been widely used both single herb and in compound prescriptions Asia, mainly due to its heat-clearing detoxifying effects. Modern pharmacology proved Fructus possesses various therapeutic effects, vitro vivo, such anti-inflammatory, antibacterial antiviral activities. Up now, three hundred twenty-one compounds have identified sensitive analytical methods established for quality control. Recently, the pharmacokinetics of bioactive reported, providing valuable information clinical application. Therefore, this systematic review focused on newest scientific reports extensively summarizes phytochemistry, pharmacology, standardization procedures, especially difference between two applied types—unripe ripe Fructus—in hope helpful reference guide applications further studies.
