摘要: In this study, the change in physical, chemical, microstructural, and rheological properties of a road bitumen modified with reactive terpolymer (Elvaloy®RET) was investigated. For purpose, four different Elvaloy®RET percentages (0%, 0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2% by wt.) were mixed B 160/220 bitumen. Firstly, obtained samples subjected to short long-term aging process using rotating thin-film oven test pressurized vessel, respectively. Then, engineering characteristics investigated X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, conventional Superpave tests. The results showed that reacted main macromolecular groups bitumen, bitumens behaved as homogenous single phase structure result reaction. Conventional tests Elvaloy®RET-modified much harder than pure had better resistance. Furthermore, penetration classes these changed their temperature sensitivities decreased significantly. Rheological additive increased resistance against fatigue cracking particularly permanent deformation. Moreover, high performance class also increased. However, parallel hardening reduction its at low observed.
