摘要: Dispersal is an important mechanism contributing to both ecological and evolutionary dynamics. In metapopulation metacommunity ecology, dispersal enables new patches be colonized; in evolution, counter-acts local selection, leading regional homogenization. Here, I consider a three-patch which two species, each with limiting quantitative trait underlain by gene networks of 16 256 genes, compete one another disperse among patches. Incorporating heterogeneous introduces tradeoff not observed single-patch simulations: if the difference between network size species greater than ability (e.g., ratio sizes larger abilities), then genetic architecture drives community outcome. However, abilities differences, any adaptive advantages afforded are over-ridden dispersal. Thus, addition selective pressures imposed competition that shape traits, creates escape may further alter effects different architectures. These results provide theoretical expectation for what we observe as field genomics develops.
