摘要: Ad-hoc networks, though an attractive solution for many applications, still presents unsolved issues, such as the hidden-terminal problem, flexible and prompt access, QoS provisioning, efficient broadcast service. In this paper, we present a MAC architecture able to solve above issues in environments with no power consumption limitation, networks inter-vehicle communications. This new is based on completely distributed access technique, RR-ALOHA, capable dynamically establish slotted/framed structure reliable single-hop channel each active terminal network. Though proposed uses slotted channel, it can be adapted operate physical layer of different standards, including UMTS terrestrial radio TDD, IEEE 802.11. The paper mechanisms that compose MAC: basic RR-ALOHA protocol, service reservation point-to-point channels exploit parallel transmissions. Some performance figures are discussed prove effectiveness protocol.
