摘要: Introduction Many cigarette smokers have experienced a traumatic event, and elevated posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) are associated with increased smoking levels. Previous research has found that PTSS to cope negative affect, it been posited perceptions of being unable the consequences cessation interfere in this population. However, mechanism relationship between these maintenance factors (i.e., reduce affect barriers cessation) not established. Emotion dysregulation is one potential as well addictive behavior aimed at avoiding reducing emotional states.
