摘要: The development of edible films based on the natural biopolymer feather keratin (FK) from poultry feathers is great interest to food packaging. Edible dialdehyde carboxymethyl cellulose (DCMC) crosslinked FK plasticized with glycerol were prepared by a casting method. effect DCMC crosslinking microstructure, light transmission, aggregate structure, tensile properties, water resistance and vapor barrier investigated. results indicated formation both covalent hydrogen bonding between form amorphous FK/DCMC good UV-barrier properties transmittance. However, increasing content, decrease in strength that plasticization, induced hydrophilic DCMC, partly offset effect. Reduction moisture solubility permeability slightly reduced sensitivity films. Thus, increased potential viability for packaging applications, offering value-added product.
