Image processing method to reduce marking material coverage in printing processes

摘要: A method for processing images printing includes the steps each separation, making a pixel level determination of marking material coverage, based on number pixels within given area that are turned on; if is made too much will be placed area, using random function turning off fraction in to reduce amount used area; and preventing artifacts from occurring reduction step by utilizing order through which tends randomize turn effect. Additionally, results compared determine turnoff result allows at least one corresponding among separations ON.
