摘要: Data were collected prospectively from 116 children younger than 2 years old who seen at the Duke Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Unit for known human immunodeficiency virus seropositivity. Forty-six (40%) of these virus-infected and 70 not infected. Using 3-month blocks, 10th, 50th 90th percentiles calculated CD4+ CD8+ cell counts, percentage lymphocytes positive CD4 CD8 T4:T8 ratios. Results infected uninfected compared. By 3 to 6 months age patients had significantly lower cells ratios, whereas was higher. Absolute counts approximately same in through years. Most one or more abnormal lymphocyte subset results (less 10th percentile patients) by 2: 83% an percentage; 78% ratio; 67% count. All 13 opportunistic infection (at any age) before years, 12 a low absolute count ratio. Among died 10 11 1 count, 9 8 T4/T8
