摘要: Background Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) represents a generalized myopathic process affecting both ventricular and atrial myocardium. We aimed to assess left (LA) function by two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography its relation with (LV) clinical status in patients HCM. Methods prospectively enrolled 37 consecutive HCM normal subjects similar age gender distribution. Longitudinal LV strain (e) LA e rate (Sr) parameters (systolic, early diastolic, late diastolic during contraction) were assessed. Results Peak LAe Sr significantly lower compared controls ( P ≤ . 001 for all). In patients, all correlated LVe 003 Indexed volume, parameters, mitral regurgitation degree the main correlates of New York Heart Association class; contraction was only independent predictor symptomatic status. Conclusion HCM, is reduced related dysfunction. Moreover, booster pump emerged as an correlate heart failure symptoms this setting.
