Prostasome-derived proteins capable of eliciting an immune response in prostate cancer patients

摘要: Prostate cancer consistently remains a difficult clinical enigma. Therefore, the development of novel strategies for diagnosis and treatment (e.g. immunotherapy) prostate is essential. We tried to identify prostasome-derived proteins that were immunogenic in patients. patients' sera (n = 44) with high enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) titers against prostasomes selected immunoblotting purified seminal prostasomes. The SDS-PAGE experiments performed Bio-Rad systems. Twenty-five recognized isolated analyzed by means mass spectrometry. Out 44 sera, 31 (70%) demonstrated reactivity several prostasomal protein bands molecular weight range 10-200 kDa. Some (55, 70 170 kDa) more frequently sera. Concomitantly run control generated only very weak or no at all. most occurring identified as heat shock (HSP 70, 71) clusterin. This study important targets autoantibodies connection man. These could be appropriate target molecules specific immunotherapy
