摘要: Ultimate carbonaceous biochemical oxygen demand (BODU ) and the specific rate constant (#~) at which is exerted are important parameters in designing biological wastewater treatment plants assessing impact of on receiving streams. An analytical method presented uses time-series concentrations BOD, defined as calculated sum dissolved (DO) losses each time measurement, for determining BODU KJ. Time-series DO measurements obtained from a water sample that incubated darkness 20 degrees Celsius presence nitrapyrin, chemical nitrification inhibitor. BOD approximate first order kinetics can be analyzed graphically or mathematically to compute JL.
